Although Stormblessed is focused on the Stormlight Archive series, we want people to know about and have a chance to enjoy Brandon’s other worlds too. The Alloy of Law, a sequel set in the Mistborn world long after The Hero of Ages, goes on sale tomorrow (11/08).

I just read The Way of Kings, book one of The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. I thought he was a good writer when I read Elantris and Warbreaker. After I read Way of Kings, I know he is an excellent writer, one of the most original and creative that I have ever read. It is a skillfully written, expertly crafted story of enormous dimensions. It was quite a Journey that I will eagerly follow to its Destination of a planned ten books. As I read, I felt just about every emotion it is possible to feel – even love, which I now feel for the book itself.

The wait is over. Brandon Sanderson’s latest novel, The Way of Kings, is now available. This book is the first in a projected 10-volume epic fantasy series called The Stormlight Archive, and is a project that Sanderson has been working on for over a decade.

I waited a very long time for this book to come out. I sat and squirmed, impatiently anticipating its release. And when I finally held the precious pages in my hands, I was both excited and relieved. I knew that this gigantic tome would slake my crippling thirst.
I have finished the book now. And I am already bouncing off the walls waiting for the next one.
It was brilliant. I expected a good book–I even expected a great book. What I did not expect was this book.
