The second volume in The Stormlight Archive has its final title: Words of Radiance.  In the announcement on Tor.com, Brandon explains what went into the choice and why he didn’t use his original idea, The Book of Endless Pages.

First Look at “A Memory of Light”

As almost any Stormlight Archive fan knows, the wait for Brandon Sanderson’s second book is delayed while he writes the final volume of Robert Jordan’s fantasy saga, “The Wheel of Time”. The final book, which was dubbed “A Memory of Light” before Jordan’s death, is currently scheduled to be released January 8th, 2012.

Recently, at JordonCon two major pieces of information about the book were released. First, Harriet McDougal, read a passage from the Prologue to those in attendance. Additionally, Harriet and Tor revealed an initial cover sketch for the final book of the series.

The Alloy of Law

Although Stormblessed is focused on the Stormlight Archive series, we want people to know about and have a chance to enjoy Brandon’s other worlds too.  The Alloy of Law, a sequel set in the Mistborn world long after The Hero of Ages, goes on sale tomorrow (11/08).
